Grandi Riso Spa was formed in 2002 and aims to establish itself as the market leader by building on the experience of the Grandi family who have been in this industry for generations. We have created a strong business culture and sought only the best in the rice processing sector.

The company is based in the fertile lower Ferrarese region and is one of the most specialized, well known and reputable firms in the Italian sector. In the last few years the Grandi plant has improved its production and processing technologies and developed new ones to ensure the quality of our rice is second to none.

Our modern plant brings together cutting-edge technology with a traditional artisan processing particularly suited to the much-loved and typically Italian rice varieties such as Carnaroli, Roma, Arborio and Vialone Nano. One of the reasons we produce such high-quality rice is the care that goes into the final selection of the grains. We use innovative and sophisticated optical sorting machines that remove imperfect grains and ensure that only perfect rice grains are used.

The company is dedicated to popularising rice consumption in Italy and making people aware of the many, but often unknown, nutritional and organaletic qualities of rice.
